Apresento hoje mais um amigo internetico Sr Alessandro Roratto da Plasmacustoms...uma cara muito gente fina que vive em Veneza (Italia)e constroi bicicletas custom incriveis , alem de envolvimento com a cultura custom em geral,pois alem de ser um dos dois membros dos chopaderos na Italia o ou tro é a sua namorada laura ,ele tambem é envolvido com os Rumblers nomads tambem...mais ai é outra historia ...

Oi amigo,
Aqui estão a história de Plasmacustom e algumas fotos.
Oi, eu sou Alessandro e moro em Ponte di Piave, uma pequena cidade perto de Veneza. Meu avô era um ourives e, vendo-o trabalhar, eu comecei a criar tudo o que pude com materiais que encontrei em toda parte. Eu era apenas uma criança, mas eu já sabia o que eu queria fazer no futuro: criar com as mãos.
Após o meu estudo na Escola de Design Italiano em Pádua, comecei a construir tudo à mão, quase sem um trabalho de projeto preliminar. Então, em 2008, eu me concentrei-me na construção de bicicletas personalizadas, com uma grande paixão por toda a Kultura Kustom. Decidi criar varias bicicletas personalizadas, fazendo quase tudo e tentando explorar todos os estilos, mesmo preferindo a velha escola.
Minha primeira bicicleta foi a low ride verde, depois a cruiser vermelha como presente para minha namorada Laura.
Então eu comecei alguns trabalhos interessantes como a iluminada cruiser azul para a revista LOW RIDE e uma board tracker de uso diario.
No ano passado eu também criei alguns triciclos para adultos: " grandes brinquedos reais", eu acho que vou desenvolver esta ideia , pois existem algumas pessoas interessadas.
The 20’s Queen / Rainha dos 20
Mas eu acho que o meu trabalho mais interessante é a "Rainha dos 20". Eu construí esta moto durante o inverno de 2008-2009, tendo em conta o design da Harley de 1920. Eu projetei freios a disco radial ... algo similar a das motos Buell. Dentro do tanque de combustível falso eu coloquei um MP3 player. Eu encontrei farol em um mercado de pulgas em Bruxelas e coloquei uma luz LED dentro dele. A luz traseira foi feita em bronze e há um LED dentro, também. O assento é feito à mão, com alumínio e couro e um amortecedor. O nível de equipamento é como uma caveira negra.
No garfo há um botton escondido para ligar um apagar a luz da frente. Ao criar uma nova moto, eu sempre gosto de colocar algo velho e algo inovador. Também gosto de colocar algo em bronze e alguns detalhes de couro, a que eu costumo prestar atenção particular.
Essa bicicleta ganhou o primeiro preço no COTY 2009 em Amsterdam e eu estou muito feliz é como foi apreciado por muita gente.
Hell Cat – The challenge / Gato do inferno - O desafio
Construção da Hell Cat.
Eu queria criar algo atípico no que diz respeito ao padrão bicicletas personalizadas, totalmente diferente em comparação com os 20 do Queen.
A coisa mais importante era a inovação estrutural e técnica. Construção da armação decidi eliminar o garfo, a criação de um cubo dianteiro de um bloco de alumínio de 1 kg. Então é um sistema de direção indiretos que permitiu que eu continuasse o quadro até o pivot da roda dianteira.
A roda traseira tem uma velocidade de 3 marchas e e freio a disco com acionamento hidraulico a oleo, um elemento distintivo de bicicletas Plasma Custom.
A estrutura é composta por uma grade de tubos que a torna mais leve. Ela é pintada com uma cor branca opaca para dar-lhe uma perspectiva de corrida. O selim é um velho Brooks 1930, modificado e equipado com um amortecedor a oleo. O quadro lembra o salto de um felino com as costas curvadas. Por esta razão, eu a chamei de hell cat. Essa bicicleta ganhou o terceiro lugar no COTY 2010 e o mecanismo de direção foi muito apreciado. Naquela ocasião Laura e Eu nos tornamos Prospect Chopaderos euro nômades e este ano, sempre em Amsterdam, tivemos a honra de se tornarem membros plenos.
Este ano chegamos à parte X do FBI com duas bicicletas novas: O superleggera feito inteiramente em alumínio e the Killer Candy, uma baixa de metal flake passeio-de-rosa e roxo.
Agora estou começando um novo projeto que que eu vou mostrar-lhe em um par de meses.
Eu também estou pensando em algumas idéias para as crianças.

here are the story of Plasmacustom and some photos.
Hi, I’m Alessandro and I live in Ponte di Piave, a small town near Venice. My grandfather was a goldsmith and, watching him working, I started to create everything I could with materials I found everywhere. I was only a child but I already knew what I wanted to do in the future: create with my hands. After my study at the Design Italian School in Padua I started to build everything by hand, almost without a preliminary design work. Then, in 2008, I concentrated myself in the construction of custom bicycle, having a great passion for the whole custom culture. I decided to create full custom bicycles, doing almost everything by myself and trying to explore all styles even if the old school is the one I prefer.
My first bike was the green low ride, then the red cruiser as a degree present for my girlfriend Laura. Then I started some interesting works as the light blue cruiser for LOW RIDE magazine and a board tracker to use every day.
Last year I also created a couple of tricycles for adults: the “real big toys”; I think I will develop this idea in which some people are interested.
The 20’s Queen
But I think my most interesting work is the “20’s Queen”. I've built this bike during the winter 2008-2009, taking into account the design of the Harley of the 1920s. I've designed radial disc brakes...something similar to the Buell motorcycles. Within the false fuel tank I've put an Mp3 player. I've found the front light in a flea market in Brussels and I've put a LED light within it. The rear light has been made in brass and there is a LED within, too. The seat is handmade, with aluminium and leather and a shock absorber. The gear level is like a black skull.
On the fork there is an hidden botton to switch on an off the front light. While creating a new bike, I always like to put something old and something innovative. I also like putting something in brass and some leather details, to which I usually pay particular attention.
This bicycle won the first price at the COTY 2009 in Amsterdam and I’m very happy is as been appreciated by a lot of people.
Hell Cat – The challenge
Building the Hell Cat I wanted to create something atypical with respect to standard custom bicycles, totally different compared with the 20’s Queen.
The most important thing was structural and technical innovation. Building the frame I decided to eliminate the fork, creating a front hub from an aluminium block of 1Kg. So it’s an indirect steering system that allowed me to continue the frame till the pivot of the front wheel.
The back wheel has a 3 speed nexus gear and a perimeter disk oil brake, a distinctive element of Plasma Custom bicycles.
The frame is composed by a grid of tubes that makes it less heavy. It is painted with a white opaque colour to give it a racing outlook. The saddle is an old 1930 Brooks, modified and provided with an oil shock absorber. The frame remembers the jump of a feline with the back curved. For this reason I gave this bike the name Hell Cat. This bicycle won the third price at the COTY 2010 and the steering mechanism was very appreciated. In that occasion Laura and me became Prospect Chopaderos euro nomads and this year, always in Amsterdam, we had the honour to become full members.
This year we arrived at the FBI part X with two new bicycles: The superleggera made entirely in aluminium and the Candy Killer, a low ride pink and purple metal flake.
Now I’m starting a new project that that I will show you in a couple of months.
I’m also thinking about some ideas for children.
